متن کاملHolographic properties of doubly doped lithium niobate crystals with Indium
The holographic properties of doubly doped lithium niobate crystals with Indium have been investigated. It is found that doping slight Indium concentration (0.5mol%) in LiNbO3:In, Fe crystal can efficiently increase the sensitivity with small dynamic range changing. To improve the whole holographic properties of LiNbO3 crystal, LiNbO3:In, Fe with ideal doping concentrations and a new photorefra...
متن کاملDielectric properties of lithium niobate single crystals doped with gadolinium
In this paper dielectric properties of LiNbO3:Gd single crystals at temperatures ~ 290–490 K at narrow frequency range (0.5–10 6 Hz) are presented. The influence of growth conditions was also investigated. The anomalies on dielectric plots depend on the development of the microand nano-domain structure.
متن کاملFemtosecond holography in lithium niobate crystals.
Spatial gratings are recorded holographically by two femtosecond pump pulses at 388 nm in lithium niobate (LiNbO3) crystals and read out by a Bragg-matched, temporally delayed probe pulse at 776 nm. We claim, to our knowledge, the first holographic pump-probe experiments with subpicosecond temporal resolution for LiNbO3. An instantaneous grating that is due mostly to the Kerr effect as well as ...
متن کاملTemperature dependence of absorption in photorefractive iron-doped lithium niobate crystals
We present experimental data showing a significant dependence of light absorption on temperature in photorefractive LiNbO3 :Fe crystals. The results are successfully explained by assuming that the widths of the Fe absorption bands in the visible and in the infrared spectral region depend on temperature. The findings are of relevance for thermal fixing of holograms. Furthermore, a temperature-in...
